The Belle Scalloped Vanity is crafted with a solid American oak frame, MDF and plywood body. Finished with 3 layers moisture resistance varnish coat. The warm Honey Oak coating is intentionally refined, striking a balance between the richness of real oak and a softened, neutral palette. It tones down the deep orange hues often found in untreated red oak, resulting in a beautifully natural finish that feels warm but not overpowering, perfectly suited for modern and classic interiors alike.

Wood Selection: The Belle Vanity is constructed with a solid American red oak frame and legs for strength and visual warmth. Sculpted mouldings are also crafted from solid timber, highlighting the vanity’s refined detailing. The drawer and door fronts are built with plywood beneath the decorative moulding for added durability and moisture resistance. This structure is finished with a three-layer protective Honey Oak varnish, enhancing both resilience and the natural beauty of the timber tones.

Stone Top: Offered in Carrara marble or Blanco (silica-free), the stone top is factory-cut and pre-installed with a white ceramic undermount basin. Due to the natural characteristics of marble, each piece has unique veining and tone. While moisture-resistant, the stone is not sealed and can be treated after installation to protect against staining and etching. Ongoing care is recommended to maintain its elegant appearance.

Handle Selection: The Belle Vanity is finished with uniquely designed gloss gold solid brass handles, crafted with weight and precision to reflect true artisanal quality. These substantial handles are more than functional, they are a sculptural detail that perfectly complements the scalloped base and classic form. Paired with Blum soft-close hinges and runners, the hardware enhances the overall luxury feel while ensuring smooth, long-lasting performance in daily use.

Sink: A white ceramic undermount basin comes pre-mounted in the stone top. It is compatible with both 32mm and 40mm waste fittings and includes an overflow. The high-gloss glaze offers a clean, durable surface that resists scratches, stains, and moisture, ideal for daily bathroom use.

FREESTANDING VANITY INSTALLATION GUIDE

Your vanity will arrive securely packed on a pallet for safe transport. Carefully unpack the vanity cabinet, stone benchtop, and basin, and inspect each component for any signs of damage such as cracks, scratches, or missing parts. Do not discard the packaging until installation is complete. Any damage must be reported within 48 hours by emailing support@joinerybybears.com with your order number and clear photos.

Step 2: Position the Vanity

Place the vanity in your desired location, ensuring alignment with existing plumbing points. Use a level to check that the unit is perfectly straight. If your floor is uneven, stabilise the vanity using shims, and trim them as needed so the cabinet sits flush and secure on the surface.

Step 3: Install the Stone Benchtop

Always use two people to lift and position the stone benchtop, taking care to avoid putting pressure near tap or waste holes. Apply a continuous bead of mould-resistant silicone along the edges of the vanity to both secure the stone and create a watertight seal. Once placed, ensure the overhang is even on all sides before pressing down gently to set it in position.

Step 4: Connect Plumbing & Add Handles

All plumbing must be completed by a licensed professional. Once the vanity is in place, have a plumber connect the tapware and waste outlets securely. If handles or knobs are included, attach them using a screwdriver. Wipe down all surfaces with a soft cloth and double-check that everything is aligned and ready for use.
