Wood Selection: The Audrey Vanity is constructed using a solid hardwood frame for structural strength and dimensional stability. Moisture-resistant MDF is used for the door panels, featuring solid timber mouldings for added durability and surface integrity. The cabinet interior is built with premium plywood to ensure resistance to humidity and minimize the risk of warping or delamination. This material combination is selected to maintain performance in high-moisture environments.

Stone Top: Carrara marble features inherent variations in veining and tone, making each top unique. The stone is factory-cut to fit the vanity and comes pre-mounted with an undermount basin. While the marble has undergone a moisture-resistant treatment during production, it is not sealed. For added protection against staining or etching, customers may choose to have the stone professionally sealed after installation. Regular care is recommended to maintain the marble’s appearance and durability over time.

Handle Selection: The Audrey Vanity is equipped with solid brass knob handles, available in gloss gold or chrome finishes. These handles are designed for long-term durability, corrosion resistance, and ease of use. Their rounded shape provides a comfortable grip, while the solid brass construction ensures structural integrity and consistent performance in humid bathroom environments.

Sink: The Audrey Vanity includes a white ceramic undermount basin, pre-installed into the stone top. Each basin is compatible with both 32mm and 40mm waste fittings and includes an overflow. The ceramic material is glazed for resistance to stains, scratches, and moisture, offering low-maintenance care and a smooth, cleanable surface suitable for daily use.

FREESTANDING VANITY INSTALLATION GUIDE

Your vanity will arrive securely packed on a pallet for safe transport. Carefully unpack the vanity cabinet, stone benchtop, and basin, and inspect each component for any signs of damage such as cracks, scratches, or missing parts. Do not discard the packaging until installation is complete. Any damage must be reported within 48 hours by emailing support@joinerybybears.com with your order number and clear photos.

Step 2: Position the Vanity

Place the vanity in your desired location, ensuring alignment with existing plumbing points. Use a level to check that the unit is perfectly straight. If your floor is uneven, stabilise the vanity using shims, and trim them as needed so the cabinet sits flush and secure on the surface.

Step 3: Install the Stone Benchtop

Always use two people to lift and position the stone benchtop, taking care to avoid putting pressure near tap or waste holes. Apply a continuous bead of mould-resistant silicone along the edges of the vanity to both secure the stone and create a watertight seal. Once placed, ensure the overhang is even on all sides before pressing down gently to set it in position.

Step 4: Connect Plumbing & Add Handles

All plumbing must be completed by a licensed professional. Once the vanity is in place, have a plumber connect the tapware and waste outlets securely. If handles or knobs are included, attach them using a screwdriver. Wipe down all surfaces with a soft cloth and double-check that everything is aligned and ready for use.
